Yay!! I was finally accepted to Nursing school!!

I knew it would happen, but it felt really good to have it confirmed! There is a light at the end of the tunnel! On a very long day that I wondered if or how I would make it through. The ending came with an email from the nursing department. Whew! Praise the Lord and thank him for Fridays too!!!!!!!

I applied to the Nursing Program

Today, or actually since it's 1:20 am, yesterday was the day I had planned on applying for the nursing progrm. I did this and should hear whether I will start in the fall by the end of March. Cross your fingers!!!

      I've never been so nervous...

I apply for the Nursing Program in a couple of weeks. I am pretty sure that I will get in. I'm just having a hard time waiting. Last time I applied, I knew I wouldn't get in because I still had some corequisite courses to finish up. I did that and ended up pretty happy with my GPA, so I am thinking i'll be starting the program in August. In the meantime..... I am going a little nuts! So I decided to pass some time on the internet. I found live spaces by reading some blogs from other Nursing students and graduates. It is helping and I appreciate all of the advice from anyone who wants to give it. I am not a person who likes to wait, especially six months at a time. I have so many quesions, but no answers for any of them. What about the bills once I get in, or how the heck am I going to pay for the education? Clueless! I know it's going to work out no matter what, but having everything in the air at once is crazy. I'm ready now, does anyone else feel this way? Any advice?

      Here it is!

I am 30 years old with a  fantastic husband and an awesome daughter. I am in school working towards a degree in Nursing. I have been working at it for what feels like an eternity... God willing, I will survive and come out on top. Life is really hard when you go at it backwards. I am currently the Office Manager for a Podiatry clinic in Austin. I have been in this position for the last seven years, which is actually what set me on the path of Nursing. I can't wait!
