Yay!! I was finally accepted to Nursing school!!

I knew it would happen, but it felt really good to have it confirmed! There is a light at the end of the tunnel! On a very long day that I wondered if or how I would make it through. The ending came with an email from the nursing department. Whew! Praise the Lord and thank him for Fridays too!!!!!!!

Hey I saw that you wanted to add me on as a friend.  SURE!!!  COngrats on Nursing school.  I will never forget that day that I found out I was accepted.  MArch 14, 2005 to be exact!  GOOD LUCK and study hard.  The biggest reward is doing this for yourself and the day you pass your boards and recieve your license will be a day you can say you did this!  I love looking at my badge and signing my name in my patients charts with RN after it.  It gives me a bit of a case of the giggles :)

Are you in your program yet?  How are your classes set up?  We have the opportunity to take pharmacology and dosage calculations a semester before the nursing lectures and clinicals start.  It helped a lot even though I ended up retaking the classes!  Oh well.  I hope all is going well for you!  Take care!

    Hi Bobbie,
Thanks for visititing my space and Congratulations on getting accepted into nursing school! What an experience it has been for me. I am so thankful I followed my dream and applied being an older student and all. It's amazing at how much it has actually helped me out. Keep me posted on your experiences. I remember how happy I was when it was confirmed of my acceptance. The most difficult part for me is taking A&P with the nursing, I didn't have done as a prerequisite and wish I could have gotten it out of the way but everything is working out, we just help each other.  Keep in touch and Congratulations again, you're going to love it!   Barbara
